Job Summary
Join Humankind Foster Care as a Treatment Foster Care Case Manager. Responsibilities include assessing foster children’s needs, planning and implementing services, conducting home and field visits, coordinating meetings (FAPT, Court, FPM, Treatment Teams, VEMAT), supervising visitations, providing transportation and referrals to agencies, and maintaining thorough documentation (Monthly Notes, 14/30/45 Day Plans, Social Histories, Quarterly/Annual Reports). Requires a Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a related field and relevant casework experience with children and families; valid driver’s license; ability to travel for home visits; compliance with LCPA standards and agency policies; strong communication, organizational, and crisis-management skills; commitment to ethics, confidentiality, and teamwork. Travel to client homes is expected. Career path includes progression to lead roles and program management. Required Qualifications
- A baccalaureate degree in any field plus two years of experience in providing casework services to children and families; OR a baccalaureate degree in social work or a related field plus related experience; OR a master’s/doctorate in social work with student placement in casework services
