Job Summary
Directs and oversees the Sex Offender Treatment Program (SOTP) within the facility, supervising treatment providers and the treatment administrative assistant, planning and monitoring treatment services, and ensuring compliance with CSOT and TCCO directives. Leads administrative and clinical supervision, conducts assessments using approved tools, applies the Good Lives Model and Risk-Needs-Responsivity framework, and guides treatment planning. Exercises leadership in staff training, program development, budget considerations, policy updates, and coordination with internal departments; provides direct casework, individual/group/family counseling as needed, and may provide expert testimony or training on the program. Requires a Master’s degree and licensure as an LSOTP or LSOTP-S, with prior experience in sex offender treatment and supervisory responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field from an accredited college or university
- Licensed Sex Offender Treatment Provider (LSOTP) or LSOTP-S as prescribed by CSOT
- Experience in providing sex offender treatment; clinical treatment experience with focus on group facilitation; one supervisory experience preferred
- Valid driver's license in the state of Texas with an acceptable driving record (unless waived by management)
