Job Summary
The Treatment Coordinator coordinates and communicates dental treatment plans, educates patients, assists with prioritizing treatment and scheduling, and manages financial/resources aspects including insurance, billing, and collections. Responsibilities include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, answering calls, explaining treatment options, conducting financial consultations, educating patients on dental benefits, posting and estimating claims, tracking accounts receivable, coordinating financing options, and performing general office duties to support the dental practice and ensure smooth patient experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Previous Front Office Dental experience required
- Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new programs (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Knowledge and experience with dental treatment plans and insurance requirements preferred
- Knowledge of dental/medical practice management software preferred
- Strong written presentation and communication skills
- Ability to travel between locations (if applicable)
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to demonstrate initiative, dependability and promptness
- Ability to manage multiple activities through time management and organizational approach
- Accurately create written reports, training presentations, and correspondence
- Excellent telephone techniques and clear communication with patients and team members
