Job Summary
Deliver quality nursing care to patients by identifying, managing, and treating specific skin disorders and primary/secondary lesions. Evaluate patient needs through ongoing assessment to revise treatment plans in coordination with physicians and the interdisciplinary team. Educate CNAs on proper positioning, training, and skin care protocols while maintaining professional relationships with associates and vendors. Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards, including confidentiality, harassment, and compliance procedures. Demonstrate excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients while assisting in patient evacuation. Maintain active RN licensure and CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
- Currently licensed/registered in applicable State
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- CPR certification
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours
Desired Qualifications
- Prior wound care experience
- One (1) year geriatric nursing experience
