Job Summary
Treatment Coordinator position based in Burlington, MA, with travel to Cambridge as needed; in-office, full-time role focused on guiding patients through the treatment journey, presenting treatment options and costs, coordinating insurance and financials, and supporting a smooth patient experience. Responsibilities include serving as primary patient contact during treatment planning, developing accurate treatment plans from diagnoses, explaining options and costs clearly, preparing and presenting cost estimates, collecting patient financial responsibility, maintaining HIPAA-compliant patient information, coordinating with referring offices, collaborating with the clinical team, meeting deadlines aligned with patient schedules, addressing patient questions with a concierge-level approach, and performing related duties to support practice operations. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of customer service experience, and prior dental/oral surgery experience; strong dental terminology knowledge, professional communication, organizational skills, problem-solving, independence, and cross-functional collaboration are essential.
