Job Summary
Treatment Coordinator serves as a primary patient-facing liaison through the treatment planning process, explaining treatment options and costs, preparing and presenting cost estimates, collecting patient financial responsibility, maintaining insurance data, and coordinating communication with patients and referring offices to support care continuity. The role supports the clinical team to ensure a smooth, positive patient experience and requires HIPAA-compliant handling of patient information, strong communication, organization, and collaboration in an in-office dental/oral surgery setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of one year of customer service experience required
- Previous dental or oral surgery experience required
- Strong understanding of dental and oral surgery terminology
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to explain complex information clearly and compassionately
- Effective problem-solving and ability to work independently
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with clinical and administrative team members
