Job Summary
Meet new patients in the admissions area, screen baggage, and record belongings on the EMR Valuables List. Escort and orient patients to the unit, educate them on rules, and assist with full body evaluations, clothing searches, and face checks. Provide 1:1 patient observation, support ADLs including meals, turning, and ambulation, and facilitate room transfers and discharges. Monitor patients during meals and rounds, report observations to licensed nurses, and maintain unit supply stock levels. Adhere to federal, state, and Joint Commission standards while ensuring patient safety and confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks safely and effectively
- TST
- MMR Titer
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Satisfactory criminal background records check
Desired Qualifications
- CNA or MA certified
- Basic computer skills
- Working knowledge of Google Office
- Working knowledge of EMR
- Substance Abuse experience/knowledge
