Job Summary
Meet new patients in admissions, screen baggage, and record valuables in the EMR. Escort and orient patients to the unit, educate them on rules, and assist with full body evaluations, clothing searches, and face checks. Perform 1:1 patient observation, provide 1:1 monitoring, and support ADLs including delivering meals, turning, bathing, toileting, and ambulating patients. Assist with room transfers, discharges, and gathering personal belongings. Complete safety checks, maintain stock levels, and report observations to the licensed nurse. Adhere to professional standards, federal, state, and Joint Commission policies. Consistently arrive on time.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks safely and effectively
- TST
- MMR Titer
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Satisfactory criminal background records check
Desired Qualifications
- CNA or MA certified
- Basic computer skills
- Working knowledge of Google Office
- Working knowledge of EMR
- Substance Abuse experience/knowledge
