Job Summary
Process material through treatment by counting charges, entering data, selecting cycles, and beginning treatment. Drill each charge to check preservative penetration and retention, then record test results for third-party inspection. Monitor treating schedules, check solution tanks once per shift, and log results to adjust chemical components. Post charges into the database to relieve white wood inventory and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns. Maintain housekeeping in the office, tank farm, and around cylinders while coordinating with the plant manager on recipes and expenses.
Required Qualifications
- Three to six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Lumber experience a plus!
