Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day accounting for APAC and LATAM legal entities, supervising the monthly and quarterly close process including balance sheet reconciliations and consolidated financial statement preparation. Manage accounting managers and ensure compliance with GAAP, country accounting standards, and internal controls by reviewing general ledger analyses and statutory audits. Lead the creation and implementation of policies to resolve accounting issues and streamline reporting processes while monitoring accounts payable and collecting receivables. Review country-specific tax returns and maintain records systems per auditing standards. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, 7–10 years of experience, and ability to travel up to 10%. Salary range $73,500–$98,000 USD.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree Finance or Accounting
- Minimum 7 – 10 years of progressive experience in Finance or Accounting
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams
- Conscientious about timeliness of assignments and quality of work product
- Accountable for specific performance
- Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including ability to articulate recommendations in a concise and timely manner
- Able to handle multiple tasks and maintain control and order over same
- Good GAAP and financial reporting technical skills
- Exceptional work ethic
- Experience with an ERP system, preferably SAP, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Prior experience in some of the following areas: inventory accounting, foreign income taxes, VAT filings, payroll, travel accounting, accounts payable, and business systems
- Hands-on and detail oriented
- Ability to travel up to 10%+
Desired Qualifications
- CPA / CA / MBA – Finance preferred
- Strong experience in private and public accounting sectors preferred
