Job Summary
Treasury Program Manager responsible for forecasting cash flow for MARTA’s Capital Improvement Program (CIP) and supporting management of MARTA’s capital structure. Develops and maintains 10-year cash flow forecasts, updates monthly with variance analyses, creates payout curves, delivers comprehensive financial reports (10-year forecast, 24–36-month outlook), operates a three-statement financial model, collaborates with capital project managers to ensure forecast integrity, and supports capital markets activities. Utilizes Power BI or similar tools for dashboards, supports daily cash management, and assists with funding allocations for future capital projects. Maintains transparency and accountability through detailed financial reporting to senior management and the Board; performs other related duties as assigned, including Transit Ambassador assignments. Emphasizes collaboration across finance and capital program teams, and adherence to ADA/EOE guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred. Must have five (5) years of progressive experience in treasury, financial planning, or cash management.
- Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills are essential, including experience with budgeting and variance analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems such as Oracle, Hyperion, and Power BI is preferred.
- Must be well organized, self-directed, and able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional project teams.
- In lieu of a degree, experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
