Job Summary
Treasury Management Officer in Commercial Banking responsible for generating new treasury management business and maintaining client relationships. Lead prospecting and revenue growth, develop strategic dialogues around client-centric issues, collaborate with bankers and clients at senior levels to deliver integrated treasury solutions, independently lead business process reviews for client opportunities, drive product development through client feedback, provide market thought leadership on working capital solutions at events, and manage non-credit risk while maximizing profitability across assigned relationships. Requires 6+ years in cash management/sales/relationship management, strong prospecting and negotiation skills, and deep knowledge of Treasury Service products and risk/pricing; Bachelor’s degree and preferred Certified Treasury Professional designation.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of cash management, sales and relationship management experience
- Success developing new business with focus on prospecting utilizing strong selling and negotiation skills
- Knowledge and understanding of Treasury Service products, credit and risk process, overdraft management discipline, and pricing philosophy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with clients, colleagues, external centers of influence (COI), and external consulting organization
- Strong time management, organizational and planning skills
- Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals; proven top individual contributor
- Bachelor’s degree
- Certified Treasury Professional designation
