Job Summary
Treasury Management Officer in Government Banking, VP level, based in the Mid-Atlantic with a Chicago focus. Grow revenue by prospecting and sourcing treasury management business within government entities, retain and expand client relationships, and develop and execute localized market strategies. Lead client dialogues, collaborate with bankers and product leadership to deliver integrated treasury solutions, manage risk and profitability across the client portfolio, and provide thought leadership through industry events and webinars. Requires 6+ years in cash management/sales/relationship management, strong communication and relationship-building skills, and a Bachelor’s degree (Certified Treasury Professional designation preferred).
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of cash management, sales and relationship management experience
- Success developing new business with focus on prospecting utilizing strong selling and negotiation skills
- Knowledge and understanding of Treasury Service products, credit and risk process, overdraft management discipline, and pricing philosophy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with clients, colleagues, external centers of influence (COI), and external consulting organization
- Strong time management, organizational and planning skills
- Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals; proven top individual contributor
- Bachelor’s degree
- Certified Treasury Professional designation
- Strong creative solution and problem-solving
