Job Summary
Process payments to creators, vendors, and suppliers while tracking incoming and outgoing transactions. Record and reconcile banking activities across multiple portals, manage receivables, and follow up on collections and outstanding invoices. Generate invoices for U.S. entities, support customer billing, and assist with month-end reporting and reconciliations. Leverage AI and automation tools to streamline routine finance tasks and improve operational efficiency. Handle general administrative duties related to client and vendor portals. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with 1–3 years of experience in accounts payable, receivable, or bookkeeping to join our venture-backed startup.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Bookkeeping, Finance Operations, or Accounting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Administration, Economics, or related fields
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
- Experience managing invoices, payments, collections, or reconciliations
- English proficiency (written and verbal)
- Is extremely detail-oriented, organized, and reliable with deadlines and numbers
- Enjoys working with financial data and administrative processes
- Has strong follow-through and accountability
- Learns quickly and adapts to changing priorities
- Is proactive and comfortable solving problems independently
- Is versatile and hands-on, and thrives in startups where nothing is 'someone else's job'
- Is excited about AI and automation, and already uses AI tools in your day-to-day work
- Looks for ways to make processes more efficient, including with AI and automation
