Job Summary
Support weekly treasury operations and cash movement activities by coordinating transaction processing with Accounting and Accounts Payable. Execute cash transfers between Nexamp Inc. and project-level entities, including intercompany movements and project funding requests, while monitoring credit agreement restrictions and account funding needs. Prepare withdrawal and distribution certificates based on applicable LLCA and credit agreement terms, and assist Asset Management in calculating distribution payments. Maintain swap tracking logs, manage monthly and quarterly trade confirmations, and support live swap executions under oversight. Track project revenues in accordance with loan agreements and help manage tax equity leverage and construction debt depository accounts. Open and maintain bank accounts, setting up access for wires, checks, ACH, and transfers. This hybrid role is based in Boston, MA for an early-career finance professional with 1–3 years of treasury operations experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in treasury operations, corporate finance, or accounting, ideally within the energy, infrastructure, or project finance
- Familiarity with accounts payable workflows and experience working cross-functionally with accounting teams
- Experience with cash management platforms and online banking portals ability to execute wires, ACH transfers, and inter-entity cash movements
- Exposure to tax equity structures, LLC/partnership agreements (LLCAs), or project-level debt agreements; ability to interpret distribution waterfall provisions and withdrawal/distribution certificate requirements
- Basic understanding of interest rate swaps or other derivative, including trade confirmation processes and settlement reconciliation
- Experience maintaining financial tracking schedules or logs such as cash balances, counterparty records, and covenant compliance trackers
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive work with accuracy
- Proficiency in Excel
- Experience with treasury management systems (TMS) or ERP platforms
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with Accounting, AP, Asset Management, and banking counterparties
