Job Summary
Process and apply daily cash receipts, wire transfers, ACH payments, and other incoming funds while preparing and submitting daily check deposits via onsite remote deposit scanners. Reconcile deposit activity to bank records and internal accounting systems, research unapplied transactions, and maintain accurate documentation and audit trails. Review remittance information for proper payment allocation, assist with daily cash balancing, and monitor bank activity for discrepancies. Respond to payment inquiries from attorneys, clients, and vendors, and support month-end and year-end close activities. This role requires strong attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Excel within a fully in-office environment at McCalla Raymer Leibert Pierce, LLP.
Required Qualifications
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a team
- Ability to meet daily processing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Regular attendance during standard business hours
- Daily use of banking systems, accounting software, and remote deposit scanning equipment
- Close vision and the ability to adjust focus

Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- One (1) to three (3) years of accounting, accounts receivable, cash application, banking, or related experience
- Experience working with remote deposit scanners and electronic banking platforms
- Law firm, professional services, financial services, or high-volume transaction processing experience
