Job Summary
Design and implement workflows, policies, and SOPs for the new Shared Service Centre while leading the 12-week rolling cash flow forecast for all schools and holding entities. Review financial submissions from School Finance Partners to ensure data integrity, challenge assumptions, and prepare weekly cash meeting packs covering group positions, variances, and payment runs. Maintain the Master Debt Schedule against Xero and loan agreements, oversee bank account registers, and support lender reporting packs to guarantee flawless treasury controls. Act as the operational gatekeeper of financial infrastructure, driving process optimization and change management for local School Finance Partners. This hands-on strategist will build centralized treasury standards from scratch within Enko Education's multi-country network, working directly with the Group Treasurer to deploy a lean, agile finance function across Africa.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in corporate treasury, financial analysis, or an analytical corporate finance role
- exposure to project management or Shared Service Centre implementations
- Advanced mastery of Excel / Google Sheets
- Experience with cloud accounting ecosystems (such as Xero)
- Full professional proficiency in both English and French
- Must provide a police clearance (or equivalent) from every country where they have lived in the past 10 years
- Reference checks with previous employers will also be conducted
Desired Qualifications
- ideally coupled with exposure to project management or Shared Service Centre implementations
- Experience with cloud accounting ecosystems (such as Xero) is highly expected
- Exposure to African banking landscapes, local FX constraints, and multi-country environments is a significant asset
