Job Summary
Supervisory Trades Worker 8, Multi with responsibility for high-skill maintenance and repair across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, plaster, masonry, and related trades in district facilities. Performs higher-skilled repairs, coordinates projects with school staff, and oversees inventory and safety compliance. Supervises clerical staff and subordinate personnel, conducts hiring/trainings, and ensures adherence to district policies and OSHA regulations. Requires four years of multi-trade experience, a valid Class E driver’s license (Class A for internal candidates), and the ability to perform after-hours call-outs. Must be able to operate hand and power tools, read safety and maintenance instructions, and contribute to quality and safety in facility maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- Four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience in two (2) or more trades
- Possession of a valid Class E driver’s license
- Internal employment candidates who apply must procure a Class A driver’s license
