Job Summary
Tray Machine Operator responsible for operating tray machines to meet production requirements, ensuring product quality and adherence to safety procedures. Responsibilities include setting up the machine as directed in the training program, following checklists, maintaining proper part placement, observing safety rules, monitoring viscosity/color/shading/ink for quality, counting and tagging pallet loads, following pallet stacking guidelines, communicating with team members, and supporting process improvements. Requires attention to quality control, 5S and food-safety practices, and willingness to assist in other areas as needed. Prior experience operating a tray machine in a folding carton environment and basic computer skills are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have basic computer skills and ability to utilize software.
- Mechanical ability and skills.
- English reading/writing and speaking abilities.
