Job Summary
Conduct daily shuttle operations transporting corporate employees between various stops while strictly adhering to safety protocols, schedules, and traffic regulations. Perform accurate vehicle safety checks, escalate issues, and promptly report maintenance, road, or route concerns via two-way radios. Provide excellent customer service by answering rider questions regarding schedules, routes, and delays, while maintaining professional interactions with dispatch and managers. Utilize navigation apps to manage pick-up and drop-off points, and maintain electronic logs for routes and incidents. Operate the vehicle without breaks for at least 90 minutes, navigate fluctuating weather and terrain, and assist with loading/unloading ADA passengers weighing up to 45 pounds. Work flexible split shifts outside regular hours.
Required Qualifications
- Clean driving record
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Class A or B required
- Passenger endorsement
- Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and background check
- Use route navigation apps, and other technology, including knowledge of area to pick up and drop off our customers
- Maintain electronic logs to track routes and incidents
- Ability to safely operate and drive without a break for a minimum period of one hour and forty-five minutes
- Ability to drive in fluctuating weather and terrain
- Flexible scheduled to work outside of regular days and shifts
- Comfortable working a split shift schedule
- Ability to lift 45 pounds or more to assist with loading and unloading ADA passengers
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- At least 1 year of driving experience
