Job Summary
Operate assigned vehicles safely along designated routes while conducting daily safety inspections and reporting issues promptly. Maintain punctuality, communicate professionally with passengers and dispatchers, and provide customer service by assisting travelers and answering route questions. Report maintenance problems, disruptions, and accidents via radio or hands-free tools, and maintain accurate electronic logs. Support ADA passengers with boarding and unloading as needed. Requires a valid CDL Class A or B with passenger and airbrake endorsements, a clean driving record, and ability to pass DOT physical and background checks. Comfortable with split shifts, weekends, holidays, and extended driving periods.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Class A or B required
- Passenger (P) endorsement
- Airbrake endorsement
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
- Ability to operate a coach vehicle safely for extended periods (up to 1 hour and 45 minutes without a break)
- Comfortable with split shifts and flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
- Capable of driving in various weather and terrain conditions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Familiarity with GPS, route navigation apps, and onboard technology
