Job Summary
Operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnosing and treating medical conditions, with expertise in abdominal, pelvic, gynecological, obstetrical, and transvaginal sonograms. Perform ultrasound-guided procedures including biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations, while scanning small parts such as the thyroid, breast, and scrotum. Maintain national certification from ARDMS or Cardiovascular Credentialing International and hold a state license as a general radiographer or RDMS. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with holiday coverage as necessary. Apply directly to be contacted by a recruiter for further details.
Required Qualifications
- National certification in specialty from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
- 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer
- BLS Certification
- Prior travel experience
- Graduate of an accredited AMA school
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
- Maintains a State License as a general radiographer
- Is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
- Experience with abdominal, pelvic, gynecological, obstetrical, and transvaginal sonograms
- Proficiency scanning small parts including thyroid, breast, and scrotum
- Experience with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations
- Monday - Friday schedule
- 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM shift
- Holiday coverage if necessary
