Job Summary
Traveling Technology Engineer at Lockheed Martin based in Syracuse area with responsibilities including RF transmitter/receiver and antenna element design for Radar applications across UHF to X-Band, RF circuit design trades, vendor interfacing, testing, failure analysis, and cross-disciplinary collaboration to deliver advanced radar and defense systems. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related discipline (or equivalent) with several years of experience, proficiency in RF circuit design and analysis tools, and eligibility for a DoD Secret clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
- Experience with IC and discrete transistor design and impedance matching networks is a plus.
- Experience with RF Testing and Lab Equipment - O-Scopes, Spectrum Analyzers, VNA, RSA, etc.
- Experience using PSpice, ADS and HFSS analysis tools or similar.
- T/R Module design and RF circuits and antenna elements' design experience.
- Knowledge of Analog Circuits, design and analyses.
- Experience with RF circuit analyses.
- Experience generating circuit Schematic and Layout and using tools like Zuken or Xpedition.
- Solid understanding of PCB design and construction.
- Ability to obtain and hold a DoD Secret Security clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.
