Job Summary
Prepare the operating room, sterilize equipment, and support the surgical team during procedures while maintaining patient safety. Assist physicians and nurses in cardiac, general, orthopedic, vascular, and neuro surgery environments. Maintain a 15-minute response time for standby calls averaging 50 hours monthly. Work 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM or 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM shifts in a 4-10-hour rotation with variable days off. Apply now to be contacted by a recruiter for further details.
Required Qualifications
- Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
- BLS Certification
- 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment
- For CVOR positions, 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
- Experience in general surgery, total joint ortho, vascular, and neuro surgery
- 15-minute response time required for standby call
