Job Summary
Provide intraoperative support as part of a cardiac surgical team: prepare the operating room, sterilize equipment, and provide direct assistance to physicians and nurses during surgeries; maintain sterile technique and adhere to OR protocols; work night shifts on a 4x10 schedule and may float to other facilities as needed; travel contracts offering comprehensive benefits, housing options, and travel/license reimbursement; responsibilities include assisting with cardiovascular procedures and instrumentation and ensuring patient safety throughout the operation.
Required Qualifications
- NBSTSA certification
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
- Experience with cardiovascular operating room procedures and instrumentation
- Ability to work night shift schedule and maintain sterile technique and OR protocols
