Traveling Superintendent - Mission Critical Data Center

Job Summary
Lead day-to-day on-site operations for commercial, industrial, and mission-critical electrical projects across the United States, serving as the senior on-site authority to deliver work safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. Manage and supervise field crews including apprentices, journeymen, foremen, and subcontractors; enforce production plans, manpower loading, and workflow sequencing; act as primary on-site liaison between Project Management, General Contractors, inspectors, and other trades. Champion safety culture through daily safety meetings, Job Hazard Analyses, and site audits; ensure OSHA, NEC, and local code compliance; identify and mitigate risks. Interpret construction documents and coordinate inspections, material deliveries, equipment staging, and subcontractor activities; monitor progress against schedule and address field challenges; maintain daily reports and field logs using approved software. Travel extensively to active job sites nationwide, including overnight assignments, and support startup, ramp-up, and critical project phases as assigned. Requires 7+ years of electrical experience, 3+ years in a supervisory role, and ability to travel nationwide.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of commercial and/or industrial electrical experience
- Minimum 3+ years in a supervisory or superintendent-level role
- Strong working knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and industry best practices
- Proven ability to read and execute from blueprints, one-lines, and construction documents
- Experience managing large crews and coordinating multiple trades
- Proficiency with field technology and reporting tools (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, or similar)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel nationwide
