Traveling Superintendent – Ground-Up Fuel & Convenience Store Construction (Southeast)

Job Summary
Lead day-to-day field operations for ground-up fuel station and convenience store projects across the Southeast; oversee on-site subcontractors and field personnel; coordinate petroleum scopes (UST, fuel piping, canopies, dispenser islands, monitoring); enforce OSHA safety; manage schedule, budget, and client satisfaction; travel extensively; requires 5+ years as Lead Construction Superintendent; experience with shell-branded projects preferred; strong leadership and communication; CDL not required; valid driver's license; Raleigh, NC project site with travel across Southeastern US.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as Lead Construction Superintendent focusing specifically on ground-up fuel/gas station and modern convenience store builds
- Proven track record of successfully taking multiple ground-up petroleum/C-store projects from raw excavation through final turnover
- Strong technical fluency in civil site work, utilities, canopy structures, fuel system integration, and commercial retail building finishes
- Exceptional field leadership and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage large subcontractor teams and maintain positive schedule pressure
- Solid familiarity with safety regulations, with OSHA 10 or 30-Hour certification highly preferred
- 100% willingness to travel extensively throughout the Southeastern United States on a project-by-project basis
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
