Job Summary
Traveling Service Technician needed to service and repair conveyor systems at customer sites. Expect travel to PA-based sites (York, Harrisburg, Allentown, Lancaster) with weekend and on-call duties due to the emergency nature of deployments. Responsibilities include servicing and repairing conveyors, performing shop work as needed, using hand tools and shop machinery, operating forklifts and cranes, maintaining equipment and workspace, and notifying supervision of faulty materials. Requires substantial service experience with conveyor and material handling systems, a valid driver’s license, ability to read and interpret assignments, basic welding-related math, and willingness to travel and work overtime. Physical duties include standing, walking, climbing, crouching, stooping, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 75 pounds. Required Qualifications
- Substantial service experience with conveyor and material handling systems
- Current, valid driver's license with a reasonably safe driving history
- Ability to read and listen to assignments given in a variety of forms
- Basic understanding of mathematics as related to welding assignments
- Have the required tools of the trade
- Willingness for overtime and travel
- Maintains professional conduct at all times, particularly when at customer sites
- Must be able to complete the essential functions of this position: stand, walk, climb, crouch, stoop, kneel, and bend
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at a time on a regular basis
- Operating tools, performing mechanical or skilled trade tasks
