Job Summary
Layout and install wiring circuits, read schematics, and troubleshoot electrical issues on Blast equipment while ensuring safe working practices. Complete conduit bending, perform installations and start-ups, and provide customer training on new product offerings. Submit weekly expense reports and inspections with follow-up documentation. Travel 80% of the week, mostly driving, with flexible hours and weekends as required. Requires a valid driver's license and Journeyman or Master Electrician's license.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication, problem-solving skills and troubleshooting skills
- Thorough understanding of electrical standards and codes
- Demonstrated proficiency in conduit bending
- Ability to use hand and power tools properly
- Basic computer skills
- Sense of urgency and ability to achieve results
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Journeyman or Master Electrician's license, or five to seven years of related experience in high voltage electrical work
- Ability to travel 80% of the week, mostly driving, including overnight
- Ability to work extremely flexible hours and weekends as required to support the customer
- Valid, unexpired driver's license
- Must pass a physical evaluation
- No felony involving the use of a motor vehicle
- No speeding 20 or more over the posted speed limit
- No driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs (DWI/DUI) in the last five years
- No driving with an open container
- No driving with a suspended or fraudulent license
- No reckless driving
- No passing a stopped school bus
- No leaving the scene of an accident (hit and run)
- No vehicular homicide/manslaughter
- No aggravated assault with a motor vehicle
- No eluding a police officer
- No drag racing
- No operating a motor vehicle without the owner's permission (grand theft auto)
- No permitting an unlicensed or intoxicated driver to drive
- No 3 or more moving violations in the last 3 years
- No 2 or more moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the last year
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with PLC's, control systems, and root cause analysis is a plus
