Job Summary
Independently install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electronic access control systems, video surveillance, and alarm systems at various job sites. Pull, route, and terminate cables while performing scheduled preventative maintenance and testing all devices against manufacturer specifications. Collaborate with project managers and the engineering team to coordinate system programming and ensure accurate daily records. Maintain tools, equipment, and parts inventory while adhering to safety best practices and quality standards. Requires daily travel to client locations across states, including overnight stays, with a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Must be available for variable hours and pass background screenings.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be comfortable with frequent travel, including overnight stays away from home as required by project needs
- Able to travel consistently for extended periods of time while working at various job sites
- Must be within a 60-mile radius of an airport for travel more than a day's drive away
- Must have a clean driving record and no DUIs in the past five years
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Good judgment is required
- Strong organizational skills are required
- Exceptional customer service skills are a must

- Must be able to pass drug and physical screenings as well as background requirements
- Individual must be available to work variable hours and willing to travel
Desired Qualifications
- vocational/technical/business school background
- Minimum of one year of experience in the security field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience with low-voltage cabling
- Familiarity with the use of various hand and power tools
- Familiarity with MS Office
