Job Summary
Traveling Security Technician responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing Electronic Access Control Systems, door hardware, readers, low voltage wiring, Video Surveillance Systems, and Alarm Systems. Daily travel to client sites across states to perform installations, maintenance, and service. Responsibilities include pulling and terminating cables, testing systems to manufacturer specifications, coordinating with Project Managers and Engineering, conducting preventative maintenance, maintaining tools and parts, and upholding safety and quality standards. Requires organization, excellent customer service, and the ability to travel and work at varied sites. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and be able to pass screenings; 1-2 years of low-voltage cabling experience is preferred. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Comfortable with frequent travel, including overnight stays as required by project needs
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- 1-2 years of experience with low-voltage cabling (preferred)
- Experience with MS Office (preferred)
- Ability to travel consistently for extended periods
- Strong organizational and customer service skills
- Ability to pass drug and background screenings
- Ability to work variable hours and travel
