Job Summary
Lead on-site electronic security projects for federal sites, serving as the project leader to plan, execute, and complete installations with a focus on safety, cost efficiency, and meeting client requirements. Responsibilities include system programming, integration, installation coordination, system and network commissioning, and project closeout; developing project plans and coordinating resources; directing subcontractors, installers, technicians, and designers; completing hardware design and software programming per established standards; loading, device verification, and commissioning of system controllers; ensuring full system functionality and proper operation with issue resolution; providing coaching and technical assistance to team members; ensuring compliance with state, local, and federal requirements and safety standards; assisting with material selection, ordering, budget and schedules; communicating project status to management and assisting with monthly revenue/cost/gross margin forecasts; conducting site-specific training for owners/operators and delivering proper documentation and operation manuals; maintaining safety, code, and security compliance; performing other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of field experience in the commercial or industrial Electronic Security industry.
- Technical, hands-on experience with systems design, commissioning and/or programming of Electronic Security Systems.
- The ability to communicate technical material to a nontechnical audience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and general windows environment.
- The ability to obtain and maintain required government security clearances as needed.
