Traveling Safety Manager

Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive jobsite inspections, hazard assessments, and audits to verify compliance with FCC safety programs, OSHA standards, and site-specific requirements. Lead investigations for recordable incidents, near misses, and first aids to determine root causes and coordinate corrective actions. Prepare reports for the Director of Safety, General Superintendent, and COO while participating in trend analysis and risk mitigation initiatives. Implement core safety programs, update site-specific safety plans, and utilize technology platforms to track metrics and training completion. Mentor emerging professionals through field coaching and lead orientations, toolbox talks, and targeted training sessions. Represent the Safety Department during client meetings, project kickoffs, and closeout reviews to align safety with project delivery and financial goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety
- Three years of full time construction safety management experience
- Board-certified safety credential from a nationally-recognized organization (i.e. CSP, CIH, ASP, or CHST)
- Five years of full-time construction safety management experience
- Current OSHA 500 certification
- Six years of full-time construction safety management experience
