Traveling Safety Manager - CHST Required

Job Summary
Develop a zero injury safety culture by conducting weekly documented jobsite inspections, reviewing subcontractor pre-task safety analyses, and enforcing immediate stops for unsafe acts. Establish and lead orientation programs for new employees, facilitate toolbox meetings, and ensure all personnel comply with Federal, State, and Local safety standards. Investigate incidents, generate reports, and maintain comprehensive safety logs while promoting proactive initiatives like near miss reporting and daily stretch programs. This full-time traveling position requires a Higher Level BCSP Cert and at least three years of construction safety experience.
Required Qualifications
- Higher Level BCSP Cert Required
- CHST / GSP / ASP / CSP
- Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
- At least (3) years of safety experience or combination of education/multiple years experience in building construction
- With a working knowledge of safety/environment principles and techniques
- OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation
- This is a full-time traveling position
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus
- Computer skills with familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Bilingual is a plus
