Traveling Safety Manager - CHST Required

Job Summary
Conduct weekly documented jobsite safety inspections, review subcontractor daily pre-task safety analyses, and establish orientation programs for new project workers. Administer orientation participation logs, issue identification, and facilitate training ensuring OSHA and Concrete Strategies compliance. Establish and conduct regular safety meetings with subcontractor representatives and project staff to define roles and ensure proper compliance. Stop any unsafe acts immediately, investigate incidents, and generate proper reports while maintaining all required safety records. Assist the Project Superintendent in implementing fire prevention and evacuation procedures. Report violations to subcontractors for immediate correction and participate in daily stretch and flex programs. This full-time traveling position requires a Higher Level BCSP Cert and at least three years of safety experience in building construction.
Required Qualifications
- Higher Level BCSP Cert Required
- CHST / GSP / ASP / CSP
- Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
- At least (3) years of safety experience or combination of education/multiple years experience in building construction
- With a working knowledge of safety/environment principles and techniques
- OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus
- Computer skills with familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Bilingual is a plus
