Traveling Safety Manager - CHST Required

Job Summary
Develop a zero injury safety culture by conducting weekly documented jobsite inspections, reviewing subcontractor daily pre-task safety analyses, and enforcing immediate stops for any unsafe acts or practices. Establish and lead project orientations for new employees, administer participation logs, and facilitate training ensuring compliance with OSHA and Federal standards. Coordinate monthly safety meetings, investigate incidents to generate proper reports, and maintain all required safety records while promoting proactive initiatives like hazard reporting and the daily stretch and flex program. This full-time traveling position requires a Higher Level BCSP Cert and at least three years of safety experience in building construction.
Required Qualifications
- Higher Level BCSP Cert
- CHST / GSP / ASP / CSP
- Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
- At least (3) years of safety experience or combination of education/multiple years experience in building construction
- With a working knowledge of safety/environment principles and techniques
- OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus
- Computer skills with familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Bilingual is a plus
