Traveling Safety Manager - CHST Required

Job Summary
Conduct weekly documented jobsite safety inspections, review subcontractor daily pre-task safety analyses, and establish orientation programs for new project workers. Facilitate training for site personnel to ensure compliance with OSHA and Federal standards, while actively promoting daily stretch and flex programs. Investigate incidents, generate proper reports, and stop unsafe acts immediately to eliminate hazards and support a zero injury safety culture. Maintain comprehensive safety logs and records, and assist the Project Superintendent in implementing fire prevention and evacuation procedures. This full-time traveling position requires a Higher Level BCSP Cert and at least three years of safety experience in building construction.
Required Qualifications
- Higher Level BCSP Cert Required
- CHST / GSP / ASP / CSP
- Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
- At least (3) years of safety experience or combination of education/multiple years experience in building construction
- With a working knowledge of safety/environment principles and techniques
- OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus
- Computer skills with familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Bilingual is a plus
