Traveling Safety Manager - CHST Required

Job Summary
Develop a zero injury safety culture by conducting weekly documented jobsite inspections, reviewing subcontractor pre-task analyses, and enforcing OSHA-compliant standards. Establish and lead orientation programs for new employees, facilitate toolbox talks, and maintain comprehensive safety logs. Proactively identify hazards, report incidents, and stop unsafe acts immediately while coaching workers on safe methods. Assist the Project Superintendent with fire prevention procedures and investigate all incidents to generate timely reports. Ensure full compliance with Federal, State, and Local requirements through active participation in daily stretch programs and monthly safety briefings. This full-time traveling position requires a Higher Level BCSP Cert and at least three years of safety experience in building construction.
Required Qualifications
- Higher Level BCSP Cert Required
- CHST / GSP / ASP / CSP
- Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
- At least (3) years of safety experience or combination of education/multiple years experience in building construction
- With a working knowledge of safety/environment principles and techniques
- OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus
- Computer skills with familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Bilingual is a plus
