Job Summary
Conduct weekly documented jobsite safety inspections, establish and lead orientation programs for new employees, and facilitate training to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local standards. Assist in developing the project safety program, review subcontractor safety plans, and enforce zero injury culture initiatives by stopping unsafe acts immediately. Investigate incidents, generate reports, and maintain all required safety records while actively promoting hazard reporting and stretch/flex programs. This full-time traveling position requires a Higher Level BCSP Cert and CHST certification.
Required Qualifications
- Higher Level BCSP Cert Required
- CHST / GSP / ASP / CSP
- Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
- At least (3) years of safety experience or combination of education/multiple years experience in building construction
- With a working knowledge of safety/environment principles and techniques
- OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus
- Computer skills with familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Bilingual is a plus
