Traveling Safety Manager - CHST Required

Job Summary
Develop a zero injury safety culture by conducting weekly documented jobsite inspections, reviewing subcontractor daily pre-task safety analyses, and enforcing immediate stops for any unsafe acts or practices. Establish and lead orientation programs for new employees, facilitate training aligned with OSHA standards, and maintain comprehensive logs of toolbox talks and safety records. Coordinate monthly safety meetings with project staff and subcontractors to define roles, identify trends, and execute proactive initiatives to eliminate incidents. This full-time traveling position requires a Higher Level BCSP Certified Safety Professional to support corporate goals, report incidents timely, and coach workers on safe work methods across multiple projects.
Required Qualifications
- Higher Level BCSP Cert Required
- CHST / GSP / ASP / CSP
- Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
- At least (3) years of safety experience or combination of education/multiple years experience in building construction
- With a working knowledge of safety/environment principles and techniques
- OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus
- Computer skills with familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Bilingual is a plus
