Traveling Safety Manager - CHST Required

Job Summary
Conduct weekly documented jobsite safety inspections, review subcontractor daily pre-task safety analyses, and establish regular safety meetings with project staff and subcontractor representatives. Facilitate training for site personnel, ensure compliance with OSHA and Federal standards, and maintain logs of toolbox talks. Investigate incidents, generate proper reports, and stop unsafe acts immediately while assisting in developing a zero injury safety culture. Record violations, notify subcontractors for corrective actions, and establish required safety records. Travel full-time to support corporate safety goals and execute proactive initiatives across multiple projects.
Required Qualifications
- Higher Level BCSP Cert Required
- CHST / GSP / ASP / CSP
- Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
- At least (3) years of safety experience or combination of education/multiple years experience in building construction
- With a working knowledge of safety/environment principles and techniques
- OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus
- Computer skills with familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Bilingual is a plus
