Traveling Safety Manager - CHST Required

Job Summary
Conduct weekly documented jobsite safety inspections, administer new employee orientations, and facilitate pre-task safety analysis for subcontractors. Establish and maintain project safety programs by reviewing subcontractor safety plans, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards, and enforcing zero injury culture initiatives. Investigate incidents, generate reports, and stop unsafe acts immediately while promoting proactive safety behaviors like hazard reporting and daily stretch programs. Coordinate monthly safety meetings with project staff and subcontractor representatives to brief on safety issues and ensure proper corrective actions. This full-time traveling position requires a Higher Level BCSP Cert and at least three years of safety experience in building construction.
Required Qualifications
- Higher Level BCSP Cert Required
- CHST / GSP / ASP / CSP
- Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
- At least (3) years of safety experience or combination of education/multiple years experience in building construction
- With a working knowledge of safety/environment principles and techniques
- OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation
- Full-time traveling position
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus
- Computer skills with familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Bilingual is a plus
