Traveling Safety Manager - CHST Required

Job Summary
Develop a zero injury safety culture by conducting weekly documented jobsite inspections, reviewing subcontractor daily pre-task safety analyses, and enforcing immediate stops on unsafe acts. Establish and lead project orientations, toolbox meetings, and monthly safety briefings while administering training to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local standards. Investigate incidents, generate reports, and maintain all required safety records to support corporate goals. This full-time traveling position requires a Higher Level BCSP Cert, CHST, and at least three years of construction safety experience.
Required Qualifications
- Higher Level BCSP Cert Required
- CHST / GSP / ASP / CSP
- Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
- At least (3) years of safety experience or combination of education/multiple years experience in building construction
- With a working knowledge of safety/environment principles and techniques
- OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus
- Computer skills with familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Bilingual is a plus
