Traveling Safety Manager - CHST Required

Job Summary
Conduct weekly documented jobsite safety inspections, review subcontractor daily pre-task safety analyses, and establish and conduct regular safety meetings with project staff and subcontractor representatives. Facilitate training for site personnel, ensure compliance with OSHA standards, and maintain logs of toolbox meetings and all required safety records. Investigate all incidents, generate proper reports, and stop unsafe acts immediately while assisting the Project Superintendent with fire prevention and evacuation procedures. Assist in developing a zero injury safety culture and coach workers on safe work methods. This full-time traveling position requires a Higher Level BCSP Cert and at least three years of safety experience in building construction.

- Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
- At least (3) years of safety experience or combination of education/multiple years experience in building construction
- With a working knowledge of safety/environment principles and techniques
- OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer
- Computer skills with familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Bilingual
