Traveling Safety Manager - CHST Required

Job Summary
Conduct weekly documented jobsite safety inspections, review subcontractor daily pre-task safety analyses, and facilitate training for site personnel to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local requirements. Establish and lead jobsite orientations for new employees, administer participation logs, and issue identification to those completing the program. Assist in developing a zero injury safety culture by identifying trends, executing proactive initiatives, and coaching workers on safe methods while reporting all incidents promptly. Stop work immediately upon observing any violations or unsafe acts. Investigate all incidents, generate proper reports, and maintain required safety records. This full-time traveling position supports the Concrete Strategies safety team in executing corporate standards across multiple projects.
Required Qualifications
- Higher Level BCSP Cert Required
- CHST / GSP / ASP / CSP
- Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
- At least (3) years of safety experience or combination of education/multiple years experience in building construction
- With a working knowledge of safety/environment principles and techniques
- OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation
- Computer skills with familiarity with Microsoft Office
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus
- Bilingual is a plus
