Job Summary
The RN will apply the nursing process to deliver individualized patient care across the continuum, collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues, plan and coordinate care, perform patient assessment, education, triage, and various nursing interventions, and adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and the profession's standards. Requires a graduate nursing education, RN licensure, and at least 1 year of experience with a preference for BSN; travel experience and geographic proximity to Bemidji, MN are specified. Contracts are 14 weeks with potential extension or site transfer; benefits include weekly pay with stipends and Sanford benefits.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program required
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs and/or multistate licensure if in an NLC state
- Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications
