Traveling Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse (RN) traveling contract role delivering nursing care across the full scope of practice using the nursing process. Collaborates with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care. Responsibilities include patient assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, patient education, triage, and coordination of care within state practice rules and ethics. Role requires adapting to preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up as patients move along the care continuum. Contract details: 14 weeks with option to extend or move to another Sanford site; rotating 12-hour shifts; approximately 36 hours per week; travel/stipend included; benefits eligible for qualifying employees; drug screen and background check required. Must meet licensure requirements and maintain specified competencies and certifications; Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred; experience requirements include at least one year of nursing experience and at least six months travel experience.
