Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) travel contract at Chamberlain Medical Center in Chamberlain, SD. Role involves providing individualized nursing care across the full scope of nursing practice, collaborating with inter-professional colleagues, patient assessment, education, triage, and care coordination, with responsibilities aligned to the Nurse Practice Act and standards of practice. Contract is 14 weeks with the option to extend or transfer to another Sanford site; eligible for Sanford benefits and a weekly pay cycle with stipends included. Requires at least 1 year of RN experience and at least 6 months of travel experience; candidate must live at least 60 miles from the location. Bachelor's in nursing preferred; licensure appropriate to practice in the location; ability to meet department-specific competencies and certifications. Benefits include health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and paid time off; pre-employment drug screen and background screening required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including AACN, ACEN, NLN CNEA.
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing or multistate licensure in an NLC state.
- Obtains and maintains required department competencies and certifications.
