Job Summary
Travel RN contract at Chamberlain Medical Center in Chamberlain, SD for a 14-week assignment with 12-hour rotating shifts and about 36 hours per week. The role requires nursing care across preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up, collaboration with physicians and inter-professional teams, and adherence to the Nurse Practice Act and ethics. Must have an accredited nursing program credential, an unencumbered RN license (multi-state licensure if applicable), and travel nursing experience (minimum 6 months) with at least 1 year of RN experience. Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred. Benefits include weekly pay with stipends included and Sanford benefits; a drug screen and background check are required for employment. Contracts are 14 weeks with option to extend or transfer to another Sanford site.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Unencumbered RN license (state Board of Nursing) or multistate licensure if in an NLC state
- At least one year of nursing experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Nurse Licensure Compact multistate licensure if applicable
- Contract: 14 weeks with potential extension
- BSN preferred
