Job Summary
The Traveling RN will provide individualized nursing care across the assigned facility, collaborating with physicians and inter-professional colleagues, and execute the nursing process from assessment through evaluation. Responsibilities include patient planning and coordination of care, patient assessment, patient education, triage, and various nursing interventions while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and applicable Standards of Practice.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
